it isnt that i haven't tried, i just want to know if i am correct in my conclusion as i don't think anyone should assume anything.

I would think that you could delete it as long as the set is not open in CAD. But I have not ever tried to delete a .dst file.

I have_not_said / did_not_say "assume anything", I said "experiment" ie. Set up a Test environment, then see what happens, what results do you get...

Have a good one, Mikeah, well, I was going to share my experiences, but, looks like rhall discovered the same thing with his experiment as I did with mine.
if you delete the dst in explorer first, then you'll have to open each sheet and disassociate it from the set. so, you'll want to open it, select all the sheets, right-click, remove sheets, then delete the dst via windows explorer.
