Every now and again we get a high school student for a couple of days for work experience. What I have tended to do in the past is place the student with each of our four design disciplines for half a day. Unfortunately our designers find it very difficult to relay to the student what their job entails.

I have decided therefore to generate a tutorial that takes approximately 2 days and encompasses a number of design disciplines (mechanical/civil/elect/instrumentation).

Has anyone done this sort of thing before and can give me some pointers please?

Jim

Hi Jim

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the CAD Mgmt. General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=119) forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

Thanks, Mike

Hi

For starters, give the forum search (http://forums.augi.com/search.php?) facility a try...

Key Word(s): *tutorial*

Hint - search by sub-forums to help narrow your search for relevant information ie.

CAD Management forums (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32)

General Design forums (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=50)

etc.

Have a good one, Mike
