LT does not support the Gradient Fill hatch.
In full acad hatch an area using Gradient. Set colour(s), pattern and rotation as you want them. Using Wblock, create a file that contains just the hatch. If that file is inserted in LT and exploded, the Property Painter can be used to change an existing area of hatch to the gradient fill.
