I used Acad2005. Windows XP Pro.
When I exploded a true type text, it changed the text to ' T9 ', it marked bigger text and move it to another position within drawing. I tried to explode different text (another text), it still changed the text to T9.
My workmate open the same drawing, exploded the text, it was O.K. on his machine.
PLEASE HELPS!

Hi
What happens if you login on your "workmates" PC and Explode the Text?
What happens if your "workmate" logs on to your PC and Explodes the Text?
From what you have already stated it does not sound like a drawing file setting.
First I think you need to try and determine if it's a PC based setting or a User based setting.
Can you please post an example drawing file that exhibits the behaviour you see when Exploding Text.
Have a good one, Mike

Hi Mike,
Thank you for your advice. As you recommended, I swap with my mate computer, It still do the same thing. I guess that there is a bug in Acad or one of the file was missing from the Express Tool.

Hi Mike,
I got in the "solution" link that you have given above. I've read the forum and found the answer:
Under my AutoCad Options\Files\Temporary drawing file location, the IT admins has claimed the right of my subfolder C:\temp\acad backup. It meant, I can't not write anything under that sub-folder which is the TXTEXP.wmf is generated and placed there. I then asked IT guy to hand back my right to get in my C:\temp\acad. It worked fine now.
Thank you for your HELP & SUPPORT!
Cheers,
Ky
