Raking Ceiling - lights

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if Accurender / Revit, is able to turn on lights installed into a sloping / raking / chapel ceiling please ?

I have been able to render with flat ceilings but the raking ones in this job have lights which will not turn on although they are turned on in the Settings - Light Groups.
Have checked that the downlights are properly hosted and showing through the linings OK.
any thoughts ?

Yes, downlights do work in a raking ceiling.

What light family are you using ? ( The standard recessed cans work fine )

Just a word of warning, had a similiar problem and discovered that the ceiling itself was obstructing the actual light source. As such, look carefully at the actual type of light specified. If the family is only designed to recess into a ceiling or a roof, it may not 'cut' into the other item it was not designed to cut into...i.e the roof or ceiling. The result is the light source appears turned of. Solution is to redo the family type or lower the fitting or light source to protrude beyond the obstruction.. hope this helps with the logic of what is happening...
