Any one know how to modify these blocks, I have a couple of routines that I got from the exchange that I am trying to combine, and I am not having any luck, I can lock model space and successfully unlock it, but I cant get paperspace to unlock, it either doesn't do anything, or it completely disappears. I am using EX001231 and EX001076 and trying to add the password functionality in the second lisp routine to the first.
Any help would be appreciated.

Erase the MINSERT and insert a single copy of the block in the same location.

1. If your have minsert block with name *Unnn, column=1 and row=1 your can try command UX for explode or U2B for converting minsert block to block
2. If your have minsert block with column or row >1, (classic minsert) your can try M2B command
Link UX and U2B (http://forum.dwg.ru/showpost.php?p=267419&postcount=41)
Link M2B (http://forum.dwg.ru/showpost.php?p=267426&postcount=42)

But why?...............
Perhaps the software to create minsert block with the number of rows and columns = 1. For example, see attached.

That still doesn't stop you from doing this.

I just wanted to say that instead of
Erase the MINSERT and insert a single copy of the block in the same location minsert block it can be converted.

I dont know, I really dont remember what I was posting about, my original post is almost 4 years old, I think we decided to abandon the whole lock a drawing process to protect it from people we send them to. I think I found a program that will easily explode an minsert block therefore allowing editing. But like I said, that was almost 4 years ago.
