Will Civil 3D do Storm Water Detention Design? If not, what software are you guys using for that?

Never mind; I've since learned that Civil Series does have a Hydrology component. I also found out that a few of our Civil guys trained on it a couple of years ago and decided that it was too complicated so they're using Eaglepoint and/or Haestead (?) instead. Any thoughts about that?

P.S. I'm not a civil guy. I'm kind of playing the role of CAD manager and I'm helping some new civil guys evaluate software.

Thanks!

I have used Ealgepoint to do this type of work. Does a pretty good job. I would suggest you don't leave out Civil 3D in you evaluations. Two years is a long time in the software biz. I wouldn't be surprised if the Hydrology component was completely rewritten. It could be better in the newer version.
