Creating a new Central file/starting worksets

To All:

I've been working on a project for a while and now I need to get others involved to finish the project. I cleaned up the file and then went to "Enable Worksets". Each time I do this the program locks up and my Task Manager shows Revit is "Not Responding". Anyone else see this with 8.1? The file is about 65 megs...would size have anything to do with this?

Check your reviewable warnings for errors that might be making the transition take a long time. Do you have a great many linked dwgs or images? I have seen this take 20 minutes or so to process. The "not responding" message can show up even when Revit is fine and dandy...just crunching numbers and Windows can't "tell". So if you make sure you don't have some errors that ought to be resolved first and give it a little bit more time to process?

Thanks Steve. Guess I was a little impatient. It took about 25 minutes and I did see some errors which I need to resolve.
