Does anyone have any recommendations for RSS reading software? I've yet to find anything I really like...

Hi

Try these...

FeedReader (http://www.feedreader.com/)

RSS Bandit (http://www.rssbandit.org/) - For what it is worth, this is the one I use.

inforss (http://inforss.mozdev.org/) - Firefox extension (I have this installed).

Sage (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?application=firefox&category=News%20Reading&numpg=10&id=77) - Firefox extension.

Have a good one, Mike

Right now it's RSS Bandit that I use. Before that it was Bloglines. I've also tried http://www.live.com/ a little.

Along similar lines...

Google Reader (http://www.google.com/reader/things/intro)

Plus, I think I might give this one a try...

RSS Feeder.NET (http://rssfeederdotnet.sourceforge.net/)

Thanks for posting. I was thinking about getting
an RSS reader, however, I had not spent any time looking them up.
This is good info for me 8)

I use and recommend GreatNews (http://www.curiostudio.com/). I have been using this reader for sometime and found it very fast and extremely user friendly.

Also, don't forget that Thunderbird [ http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/ ] includes support for RSS news and blogs. If you use this for your real NNTP newsgroups anyway, it's all right there....

Ok! has anyone else any recommendations for a clean looking, easy to use RSS Reader ( preferably freeware ).

So far...

* For reading / viewing from within my web browser I have settled on Google Reader (http://www.google.com/reader/).

* For reading / viewing from within a RSS Reader ( in no particular order )...

Feedreader (http://www.feedreader.com/) - I really like this one, apart from one small by annoying "missing" feature.

Newzie (http://www.newzie.com/) - I have only been running this one for a week, but it looks promising.

RSS Bandit (http://www.rssbandit.org/) - Still my personal favourite.

SharpReader (http://www.sharpreader.net/) - Clean looking and easy to use.

* Ones that did not make the grade...

GreatNews (http://www.curiostudio.com/index.html)

RSSFeeder.NET (http://rssfeederdotnet.sourceforge.net/)

RssReader (http://www.rssreader.com/)

For me, I still haven't found anything that beats Sage (http://sage.mozdev.org/)

<SNIP>Hmmm, looks intersting...

Anothr.com - use Skype as a simple RSS reader (http://share.skype.com/sites/en/2006/10/anothrcom_use_skype_as_a_simpl.html)

I might have to try it.
