I know some of you guys on here have a some experience with revit to viz.
We are considering using viz to render our revit models. I have read the white paper, and have been playing with link my revit models in. But I have a few q’s.
How do you handle light placement? I have been trying to add viz lights to my revit light viz blocks, buy using the subsitute modifier on the viz block, xrefing a erco light, or any max file with a light, and I can’t get them to turn on. If I manually place a light everwhere I have a revit light it works.
How does one approach this? Is there anyway to “redefine” a viz block to include a viz light?
This is the first of many questions I have.
