I've got a real nice project that I'd like to strip off all the objects and SaveAs a Template.
Only problem is that its got Worksets activated & SaveAs tells me:
"Worksharing may not be enabled for Template Files"
Is there any way to disable "worksharing"?
I've tried "Detach from Central" and Deleting all but one Workset, but it's still got them enabled.

Tried creating a blank Template & doing Transfer Project Standards too, but that doesn't bring over the Views or the Sheets or the Schedules or the Families or....you get the idea.

Sorry Dave, I don't think you can do that. Remember when you activate worksets, you get that nasty little message informing you that: "Sharing a project using worksets cannot be undone and requires careful planning and management".

Would it work to Transfer Project Standards from your project into your current template?

Dave,

I think your best bet like Rols says is transfer standards, then cut and paste schedules etc. Remember for schedules they can only go from sheet to sheet when you cut and paste.

Hey - nothing like getting all the locals to answer your questions!

Thanks, guys. I had a feeling that would be the answer. Just hoped it wouldn't be.

See you at the next meeting!
