Can anyone tell me where I can get Service Pack 1 for Civil Series 2004? The Autodesk website has the Civil 3D service pack listed under the Civil Series product information. When I try to run the service pack, it tells me that the service pack could not be installed because the expected Autodesk product could not be located on your computer. Since I do not have Civil 3D installed on my machine this makes sense however, the file that I downloaded is under the Civil Series data/download page. Any assistance would be appreciated. I am running an unlocked stand alone version.

Bare with me. I don't use the Civil Series and am not familiar with the various flavors of the Civil / Land verticals.

Does the service packs listed on the Autodesk Civil Design (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/index?siteID=123112&id=2334435&linkID=2476081) Support Page help?

No...

Civil Design is only 1 component of the Civil Series. Civil Series is a combination of Civil Design, Land Desktop, Survey, Map, and Raster. It was sold as a package for a short time before Autodesk released the Civil 3D line.

This is what I get when under product information:

[Product Information Properties]
Thursday, November 03, 2005 1:30:26 PM

Product name: Autodesk Civil Series 2004

Product release version: 2004.0.0

Product service pack: 0

As you can see, I would like to install Service Pack 1.

There was never a service pack that would actually work released for Civil series without Civil 3D installed. The SP for Civil and Land would not work either because it is a unique animal as far as the service pack is concerned. ADESK changed out the Series after the first year partly due to the service packs not talking to each other. ADESK announced that they were upgrading everyone that was on the Series when they rolled out the '05 version, but it was not widely published. So many companies stayed with 04 and din't get the upgrades.
Sorry bout the news, but you may be able to get the 05 upgrade if you contact ADESK support directly. And I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance too!!
