Well the powers that be made me do something I didn't want to do. Draw a cable in 3D. And now I have to modify it. The cable in the attachment needs to have the two ends go thru the BLUE Power Bracket. I can't get the cable to STRETCH everything moves. Is there anyway to separate the wires and two tabs near the BLUE Power Bracket modify them and union them back. Note the drawing attachment has been saved in AutoCAD 2000 format.

Thanks

When I find I need to "stretch" a solid, I perform a slice twice to cut out a straight portion of the cable, keeping both sides, then copy the sliced portion over (maybe multiple times) to lengthen my cable, then Union the pieces back together. I wish there was a solid stretch...

I've done what I'm talking about except for unioning them back together. Hope this helps...

Hi

You might also want to take a look at _.SolidEdit command.

Have a good one, Mike

Many Thanks Phillip & Mike. It took a great deal of SLICEs, many EXTRUDEs and an ALIGN or two, but something passable came out of it. Thanks to all.
