Distance command?

Now I know I must be missing something here. Is there a distance command in Revit? I can't seem to find one. I don't care what the overall length of the wall is, just that it's a foot past one grid line and 3 feet short of the other.

Never mind I found the tape measure. Is there an ootb quick key for that?

No, but you can add your own here (for a default installation): C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit Structure 2\Program\KeyboardShortcuts.txt
