Dynamic Blocks doesn't update after adding parameters & actions

Hello

I have an existing block which was created in version autodesk map 2005. I am trying to add parameters and actions to the existing blocks. Once, i have added the parameter and action, i close the block editor after saving it first. I am able to dynamically work with my block, but once i insert the smae block, my dynamic features do not exist. Can someone help me?

have you tried "battman" then sync, or that other method of getting blocks updated? (ATTSYNC) I'm unfamiliar with "map" so that's all I can suggest... sorry.

I'd maybe suggest a complete purge of the block that's giving you trouble from your drawing. Then, once you've purged the block, try re-inserting the dynamic version of the block. Reason is that, unless you re-define the existing block, you won't be rid of the "old" block definitions. I find a purge is the surest way to get rid of the old version of a block.

This has worked for me in the past .....

I'm sure other people have different advice to offer, but that's my 2 cents.

when I have this problem I always rename the block using the 'RENAME' command. I call it something like junk or junk1. then purge it out at a later time.
