The properties and the entry of different families for example Walls need to have the ability to enter "coordinates". I suggest a right click option for entering coordinates for entry and a place to edit the coordinates in the properties dialog box. I know that for some reason the creators of Revit fealt that coordinates were not as important as relative geometry, but coming from a "Autodesk / AutoCAD" background I would strongly disagree. Design and analysis of structures and structural components depend on being able to understand objects precise location relative to the coordinate system.
Most people who sill learn Reivt will be coming from that environment, I would suggest helping us migrate as easily as possible by adding coordinates to the properties.
