Can anyone advise me or recommend the best way to print views (scale to fit) out to a PDF file in 8.1? I only occasionally need to print a couple of views to e-mail to clients (no batch plotting needed). Most printing goes directly to the plotter! Is there a built-in PDF print driver included in Revit 8.1 or do I need to purchase Acrobat 7.0 for $399 to accomplish this?

Thanks for insights or suggestions!

...I used to recommend PDF995 but now CutePDF is my choice -- no nag screens! None of the PDF solutions offer any help on the multipage direct to PDF request. You can print to multipage DWF then PDF to get a multipage PDF happening.

I think CutePDF is a better way to go. They have a version that is free. PDF995 wants money to get rid of advertisements. I had some problems with PDF995 with one of my cad programs, so I had to find an alternate and CutePDF filled that need.

I've been using pdfFactory (purchased basic version to get rid of watermark in border) and it does an excellent job of revit to multipage pdf. After printing, or during on longer print jobs, it comes up with a review screen, from which you can save a single pdf file, or print, email it, or start over. User interface is clear and settings are retained. It has a page delete function and you add pages. Can't insert pages, tho'.

Or are you trying to get multi individual files?
