Los Angeles Revit User’s Group
Greetings,
We are in the process of establishing an Autodesk Revit users group in downtown Los Angeles, and hope you will join us. We are now planning our first meeting. Your ideas and attendance would be greatly appreciated.
When:
Monday, April 5, 2004
Time:
5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Where:
At the offices of Autodesk re-seller LA Cad

Equipment:
Computers and projectors will be available at LA Cad.
Food: Dinner is provided, compliments of Chuck Keeley of Autodesk.
This months guest:
Autodesk representative Randy Anderson will be in attendance to discuss the new features of the recently released Revit version 6.1.
Examples:
I will be showing a project that is currently in production at my office, (a new gymnasium structure). If you wish to show a project please feel free to bring it along, and time permitting, we will show it.
This Months Topics: (I hope these will recurring monthly themes)
Production processes – How do we introduce Revit into our current production framework? How do we transition from our 2d drafting world to object oriented modeling?
Family creation - Let’s begin to look at this important function.
Philosophy – CAD, BIM…….where are we headed…how’s it going!
