Civil 3d opens as Map 3d

Obviously I've done something clever here. My civil 3d opens as Map 3d and all of the civil commands respond with command not found? I am a new user to 2006.
Does anyone have any idea what I did?
Even better, does anyone know how to undo it?

It looks as if you've changed menu's, type "menu" at the command line and reload your civil menu.
You may want to setup a profile that will force load civil from your icon.
Just a thought!

No luck
I have all of my civil menus but none of them work?
they all come back with 'unknown command'
any other ideas?

I would say check your paths to see that the Civil apps are in the search paths in your profile.
