I've exported a 3D model from 3DS MAX 8 as a DWG file. When I open it in ACAD06 and hide it, it does hide, but all triangulation lines are visible. I've changed to setting of DISPSILH to not show the traingulation lines that would normally be visible on hidden, curved objects, but they are still visible. Does anyone have any ideas about turning them of for the imported objects?
Thanks,
Scott

A model from 3DS is all mesh surfaces isn't it?
DISPSILH only affects solids.

Yes, they are all mesh surfaces. Is there a way to turn off their triangulation lines?

Hi Scott
Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD 2006 General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=197) forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.
Thanks, Mike

apply the "EDGE" command and select unwanted lines, to make it visible again change the value of SPLFRAME = 1
hope it will help :)
