Where is the Piping Library, and can you add/modify to it?
Specifically, I'm trying to add a tubing system and drainage system. Each with drainage or No-Hub type of fittings.

There is a plumbing module in ABS. Unfortunately, for whatever reason Autodesk feels 3d plumbing is not important, therefore it is all 2d. Also, it seems to depict plumbing pipe in the most expensive way imaginable - forcing individual water drops to batteries of fixtures instead of one drop and a horizontal run behind the battery (the way it's really installed). The only thing nice about it is now I don't have to insert fitting ticks and it auto-trims valve inserts (which i had in a lisp routine anyway). The waste & vent piping and auto sizing also leaves much to be desired. To me, the product looks like it is about in alpha development and then they forgot about it. Obviously, Autodesk never bothered to consult a professional plumbing designer when they developed this module.
If you want to modify the HVAC piping to add copper and cast iron you are looking at hours upon hours of 3d work to create all your fittings, make a catalog and then debug.

The same can be said for the electrical piping module. I've had to create custom parts for junction boxes, gutters, unistrut etc. etc. Also I wanted to change the conduit sizes to reflect actual conduit OD and not the trade size but after seeing how many places I would need to update this information I gave up. In addition, conduit bends are not drawn at the standard radius.
Don't get me wrong I like ABS 2006 I just think the development team needs to do a little more research with actual designers in order to more accurately depict the work.
I also think that I'm using ABS 2006 in a manner the development may not have anticipated. (I draw each conduit and cable tray run to coordinate my routing with the mechanical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler contractors for construction)
Now that I'm done venting I'll try to answer your question. To access and modify a catalog go to MEP Common select Catalog editor and open the catalog you would like to modify.
Hope this helps,
