I have recently installed Map 3D on my machines in our office. Is is common to have a 2-4 second delay after you select an object. Typically if I have my properties palatte shut off I don't have this delay. If it is turned on I get the delay. Is this properties box collecting more data or is there something that will speed this up. If anyone could help with this annoying problem It would be greatly appreciated. I have increased my virtual memory allocation. Any other suggestions???

FWIW- I found out through a friend of mine this weekend that if you turn off the Menu and Tooltip Transition Effects it will make a Drastic improvement to your system if you are running Windows XP with SP2.
Right-Click on your destop - Select Properties - Advanced - Effects and uncheck the top two boxes. The second box will allow you to be able to actually READ your text in the MTEXT Editor.
