Please make ALL civil 3D objects available to MAP as part of the query process. Currently a MAP query of a Civil 3D file results in an error message that some objects can not be queried, in fact none of them will query in, even if you run the query while in Civil 3D.

YES, definitely this would enhance Civil 3D. I thought I had been doing something wrong since I could never get these querries to work.

Hi hingles ( Sorry, I do not know your real name )

Please note that I have moved this thread from the Civil 3D wishlist forum to this one. I believe it would be better suited here.

Thanks!

Agreed. This should be added to Map.

Glenn as this is a failing with MAP as it exists inside of Civil 3D, I think it belongs there also.

Hi hingles ( Sorry, I do not know your real name )

Sorry for the delay (been out of town).

Agreed that this wish could be in both forums, but its against forum guidelines to post the same thing in multiple forums. I believe this is the best place for this wish. As any changes made in MAP will automatically be added to C3D. Also Map users that don't have C3D run into this problem too.

Glenn, it could be time to alter those guidelines, as not all things added or deleted to any autodesk application are automatically added or deleted from that product's family. Take for instance the fact that most if not all civil functionality as it exists in Map 3D will not function when attempting to use those very same function inside of Land or Civil 3d unless you install them in a particular order or at all as in this document http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?id=6414806&linkID=3549480&siteID=123112. Therefore the wish should belong to both products for that very reason, otherwise it is possible that it might be ignored in some of the products in that family as it is added to others. So I think we should be a little more flexible in order to get the fix into all applicable products in the family.

We can easily add a re-direct to include a link to this thread in the Land\Civil\etc. forums if needed.
