Below is a link to a 5 minute video lesson on REVIT Legends.
You can very quickly make a legend for almost all components including symbol and annotation families.
Legends are another View type and are scale specific. Components placed in the legends update bi-directionally in normal REVIT fashion. Just another REVIT task made simple.
