Context (mouse) menus

Forgive a dumb question from a newbie please.
Suffice it to say that I have been out of action for quite some time and have just jumped in the deep end.
Eight years ago I was working with R14 and have retained some custom files which I now, of course, wish to use with 2006. I can see where I can update some parts of it into the new CUI but I cannot see any reference to mouse button menus (commands, yes but menus , no)
Are they a thing of the past??

Context-senstive menus (the ones under a right-click) are called shortcut menus, and are supported by the CUI.
