I am using LDD 3 w/ Civil Design 3. I have existing survey breaklines at the back of curb (BOC) along an existing road. I have proposed sidewalk that meanders from BOC to 6 feet from BOC. Also I have proposed driveways along the road. I have created templates with transitions and applied it to my cross sections. I have added specific sample stations where my proposed driveways are located along the road. I attached the front of sidewalk alignment and back of sidewalk alignment within design control. It is working partially. I need to generate the cut/fill or daylight line along with cut'fill earthwork volumes for all of the proposed work. My problem seems to be two-fold.

1) - I created a template where there is only sidewalk (SW) 6 ft. from BOC with a transition along grade. That template works great. Also, I created a template for a driveway in a fill condition with a transition along grade. All of my driveway are in a fill condition, however, my template shows -2% from back of SW for 10 ft., the -6% from that pt. for 10 ft., then -14% until daylighting. I would like my catchpoint to be where my template meets existing grade regardless of whether or not it reaches the -14% slope. Currently, it shows fill and then continues thru the 20 ft. from back of sidewalk and then daylights at 14%.

2) - When I apply my driveway template at specific station intervals only one side of the driveway is being created correctly in my cross sections.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry, I am having similar problems with the Design Control in the Cross Sections menu. I used to be able to edit the control while viewing the sections, now that is not working for me. Also, tried to edit again with the regular "edit design control" and had bigger problems. I would edit a single station and then view and either nothing changes or the changes go to the wrong station when viewing. Does anyone else have these problems? Is there any fix?
