I am wondering if anyone has had an issue with a project doing this? I am able to save my current work locally but when I attempt to save to Central I get a fatal error box and Revit goes kaput. This is an isolated case, I have other projects with worksharing enabled and can work on them without any issues. Any insight is very much appreciated.

I have seen this occasionally when a great deal of work as been done by others and the local file is technically very out of sync with all the changes. You've saved locally already, now try Reload Latest to pull new work to your local file. If that works (doesn't crash), Save Local again then try the Save to Central. No guarantees but it has worked for others. If it continues, contact Revit Support.

Thank you for the speedy reply. I tried your suggestion but reload latest nuked Revit as well. I am going to file a support request, I'll post any findings.

Take a look a Tools menu > Review Warnings too while you are waiting for them. How many such issues are present? How many others are working on the project and how much work was done between your present situation and the last successful STC? Is there much data to recover? If not carry on from an earlier backup?

Ok, I tried this before submitting the support request adn it seems to have worked. I took the most recent file (mine) and simply saved it as a new centeral file. Luckaly there was not anyone else working on this project as it may have been quite costly in man hours.
The Problem: I also talked with my boss and it seems he was working in the centeral file and his own file. I am guessing this is where wires got crossed, lesson learned I hope....don't work in the centeral file!!
