View Full Version : Beware what you call your custom properties - period

Here's a tip.

While it is OK to use periods as default values, it is NOT OK to use them in names to abbreviate long words.

I have been pulling my hair out ALL DAY trying to figure out why some of my custom properties would update but others would not.

Here's a wishlist item.

It would be nice to have the ability to edit in the custom properties dialog. they do not sort properly after being added and if you make a mistake, you have to delete and start over.

I have 38 items in there so far and this is a real pain.

Funny what you have to learn on your own, the hard way - at your own or the client's expense...

Hi Janet

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Fields (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=53) forum to this one, as others many find this information helpful, useful.

Plus, have you thought about submitting a real AutoCAD Wish List item...
