IFC Import/Export for 2007/2006

I haven't yet used ABS, but we are now going to Revit Structure 3. I've been assigned to a very large, long term project (due to be finished in 2010) and wanted find out from ABS users your thoughts/concerns. Currently in RS3 you can only export your model to ADT/ABS v 2007. From what I've seen around the forums, people are having lots of issues exporting from ADT2007 to ADT2006. The MEP firm I will be working on this project with is currently using ABS2006. I can buy an IFC export/import tool to get my model into to 2006, but I don't know what kind of results I will get. My goal is to send a model to our MEP guys so they can check for interferences. Can anyone give me a little insight to some of the "known" issues.
