Hi, I am a road designer and in our firm we used LDD and MX software, and now trying to implement C3D. Software is exciting, have new "look" and feel, and many amazing things. But, some very important things missing:
- road wideing must be more automated (reverse curves in junction areas, and road wideing in curves with smaller radius based on rules...). Momentaly implemented ways/functions to do this is not good enough for main and implementing designs;
- editing superelevation in table form must be easier, if possible with some import/export functions. Superelevation must be visible under layout (add labels?)...
- why in view/edit cooridor sections are not present some great functionalities in LDD? grid? vertical factor?
- corridors presentation in layouts now is based on feature lines, codes, links...It's not easy to produce some nice "plot look" for cooridors. Much beeter will be solution with whole corridor styles - something like profiles and section.
