I regularly publish utility map updates to DWF for use by field personnel & others. The map tiles are accessed by following hyperlinks imbedded in an Index map (also DWF).
Since installing v6.5, many users have experienced the viewer abruptly closing when activating a hyperlink. This happens after several "trips" to the index map. They open a tile, navigate back to the Index map, open another tile, , etc. After 6-10 of these the viewer closes abruptly. Reopening the viewer restores functionality. I ws able to duplicate problem, but get no error message, it just disappears.
Any ideas on a fix?
Thank you
Larry

According to Micro Persuasion blogger, Steve Rubel: "I Like Companies That Say "We Suck." OK, let me try that. When it comes to hyperlinks and DWF Viewer 6.5, we suck. Autodesk DWF Viewer 7 has corrections in it for handling hyperlinks.

Kudos to you Scott, I like someone who can admit when they are wrong.

The sad part is that hyperlinks work in DWF VIewer 4, 5, 6, and 7. It's the 6.5 that is a problem. DWF Viewer 7 will be announced by Autdoesk after it has been fully regression tested.
