Quick Leader Settings

When in the Quick Leader command (and this only works for quick leader), you can Right-Click before selecting the first point to bring up a settings window. This controls your default leader settings. Things you can change:


End style (Arrowhead)
Straight or spline leader lines
Number of points (or bends) in the leader line
Angle constraints for your lines
Text justification for both Left and Right side text
What the annotation is (block, text, etc). The annotation is then associated with the leader (how it normally handles text).

Does anyone know what variable controls the multi-line text attachment? I have a lisp routine that utulises the qleader command, but if this is set wrong, it messes up.

try this (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?p=278750#post278750), it is a program that will allow you to set up your qleader settings, and save them so they can be recalled using a simple lisp routine and always set current.

This is the perfect type of thing to be set up in your template drawing - set it once, and forget it, as long as you create new drawings based off your template drawing with these settings.

You can also access this menu by hitting S after you start your command, hitting enter after you start your command, or, if you are using dynamic input, the down arrow and settings.

I agree with the power of template files.
Too bad I had to inherit thousands of files that did not use a template.
