ok, loswitch.dvb does not work when invoking plot or publish... so this won't work for 2006, it used to work on 2002.
simple question:
is it possible to modify the layer dialogue box so that layer states or managers las lay can be linked to a page setup or layout tab.
why can autodesk not fix this? we've asked for it since 2000.... 6 years later NOTHING.
Isn't that what VPLAYERS is for?

This is what I'm planning on doing and I currently use loswitch in 2004.

loswitch will actually remember linetypes, colors, and freeze thaw, so if you go from a drainage plan to a utility plan, you can have the utilities pipes in grey for drainage and vice versa for utilities. I believe the civil industry would use this most, but I am not sure. By doing what I mentioned in my previous post, one can set up a template w/ the xref'ed drawings renamed and can change the colors so as to lighten up lineweights of things that one does not want dominant on the sheet, but would still like to show it because of crossings and such.

loswitch is great and all but in 2006, you have to manually switch the layout tabs first, because autocad won't run the dvb BEFORE it initiates plotting or publishing, therefore it's useless because the regeneration occurs after the layout tab is plotted.....
off to the dvb forum I go.
