How to determine if current UCS is "WORLD"

It seems like it wou7ld be simple, but I can't figure out how to determine if the current UCS is "WORLD".

I always thought that the easiest way to see is to look at your ucs icon...

if it has the square you are in world if it doesnt your not.....

You do realize you posted that response in a programming forum? Obviously, the original poster wants to determine this from a program, not by wet-ware.
