Summary: Automatcally replace 3D components from a library when importing a IDF file.
Description: Automatcally replace 3D components form library when importing a IDF file.
How Used: When you import an IDF file, all you see are the square or round blocks of what components are on the PCB. The problem is that any 3D component has to added manually. It would be great to just replace the blocks with 3D components. Most connector manufactures offer 3D models. This saves hugh amounts of time. Replacement of blocks with these 3D models would save even more.
With a little more work on IDF, Inventor would be a, not great, but fantastic product.
