I wish C3D 2007 would let you make Add labels from an Xref drawing or in paper space. If we can dimension in those areas, I don't see why we can't do it with Add Labels.
Every cad persons uses Xref. if you don't, you shouldn't be in this profession. You wouldn't have dview, rotate or whatever you need to do to make it appear correctly and to keep it smart. Also you wouldn't have to keep going back to the Xref drawing to move them.
