I'm trying to create a tag for inserting on sections (to show floor level) that would display the y value of where it is in model space as all our drawings are drawn in the correct position in model space that relates to an actual level on the site. I have successfully created a piece of Mtext with a field that displays the correct y position, but am unable to create a block with both the text and a small arrow as the field will not update. Has any one got any other ideas. Whatever I create needs to be a block in line with our cad best practice.
