View Full Version : Hyperlinks in DWF's won't plot

I'm having a weird issue with the hyperlink tags in my exported DWFs. My DWF looks fine on the screen, but when I plot it, the area that is the active hyperlink part of the tag (like the triangle area of an elevation tag) doesn't show up in the plotted output. If I export the same sheet by itself as a single DWF (with no hyperlinks) it plots fine. I have "view links in blue" toggled off so they appear black in the DWFs, so I don't think it's a greyscale thing.. I even tried it with the "Blacklines" setting in my print set up, and they still disappear. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing the hyperlink area of the tags to disappear in my plots?

Is it possible to send multiple sheets as individual DWF's or a single DWF but not have any hyperlinks generated?

Thanks for any help!

Chuck

For the benefit of the forum and in case In case anyone comes across this post when searching this same problem. DWF's from Revit not plotting Tags properly is now a known issue. You might want to keep that in mind if you were considering implementing a DWF workflow for plotting. It works fine if you send a single DWF from a single sheet, but if you send multiple or a whole set, it creates hyper-links out of the Tags... which is really cool, except that it also makes that part of the tag not print.
