Summary: Have options when promoting/demoting parts to reatin selective constraints

Description: It would be helpful if Inventor would not loose constraints when promoting/demoting components.

How Used: When promoting/demoting a component in an assembly Inventor just deletes all constraints. For components with complex constraints it is often difficult to restore them.

Ideally Inventor would reconnect all constraints as they were before even if this means they are conflicting now. The second best solution would be if Inventor would break the constraints instead of deleting them. The result would be similar to what one gets when a part feature used in a constraint is deleted. This would allow the user to reconnect all constraints appropriately without overlooking one.

Feature Affinity: Assemblies

Good one! You can do this in Mechanical Desktop. Why not in Inventor?
