(ABS 2006) I have a small problem.

In one drawing, when I place my cursor over a duct, without selecting it, a "tooltip" pops up and tells me info on said duct (i.e. elevation height, size, system, etc...).

In another drawing, it does not do this. It will highlight the duct as it should, but nothing pops up with the info?

Any thoughts?

Rich

Go to Options, ABS Tooltips and check the items you want to see.

Hope this helps

HA! I cannot believe it was that simple. Thanks for the help.

Guess I had not noticed that tab before.

Is there a way to add this option to standard ACAD 2008? I have the MEP Enabler installed on the system so I am able to see all of the MEP related drawings but the popup for the tooltips does not show up. It is not even in the options to activate it.

There are many properties associated with the ductwork and objects that require the full MEP to recognize and display.

That being said, I am not aware of Vanilla CAD having the ability to recognize those properties, even with the object enabler.
