I may not be in the right forum for this but .... I have been put in charge of creating a new dynamic block system. I need to figure out if I can somehow add the schedule tag wizard in conjunction with dynamic blocks. I need to be able to extract all qty's of doors, windows, framing studs, ect (the whole nine yards), their sizes, along with their model #'s/SKU #'s for the purchasing dept. I know how to use the att extraction tool, but it doesnt give all I want, or I'm not advanced enough to fully utilize it. Any assistance would be appreciated.

There is a way that you can do this using attributes and using the attribute extractor on your modify II bar. I dont understand it completely myself because I was just shown it but I will be messing around with it today to get it all figured out. Apparently you can use it to count the number of att. of a block in your dwg. You should also be able to use it to pull your information as to SKU's and such as well but some of that you will have to put into the att. Hopefully this helps!

Hi Jeffrey

Please note I have *split* your above post from thread "Dynamic Block file sharing anyone?", into its own thread.

Why? - Trying to keep thread "Dynamic Block file sharing anyone?" clean and focused on its purpose... Sharing Dynamic Blocks.

Thanks, Mike
