Hey guys. I've done a bit of searching around and have not found any solutions to the following TWO problems:
When I try to do a Dim, Update on the following drawing the leaders "jump" all over away from the text.
The method (as I understand it) used by many in my group is to create mtext and DText, copy it around and edit as needed and then draw leaders to the text. I'm not sure why people prefer to do it that way, and in time I plan to ask around to see why some prefer that to using the "copy an object" feature in QLeader. The couple of leaders I did create using QLeader and attached text did not jump around like that. I had recently found out about "qlattach", but that didn't seem to work in this drawing.
Another problem I've have is sometimes updating dimstyles and having the tails get like 10x longer than they are supposed to be. To get that problem in this drawing, "ddim", change the scale for dimension features to "40" and then "dim", "update" The affected leaders on on those mtext I turned red. Those are off course, the QLeader'ed text that I created that didn't have the 1st problem.
Any thoughts? Comments? Links?
Thanks in advance!
Ron
