I started out on 7, and am using Revit 9 now, and I know that someplace along the way, structure was brought into the equation with Revit. Any chance of Systems being brought into regular revit as well?

I work on a lot of adaptive reuse preservation projects, and one of the biggest challenges we have is integrating modern HVAC systems into old buildings. Being able to do some basic modelling of these systems to plan duct runs, etc would be immensely helpful, as most of these buildings were un-airconditioned, and heated with radiators. A far cry from today's forced-air HVAC systems, which have significantly higher space requirements.

Another thought is that if a duct run or pipe runs through a steel beam or below a drop ceiling, it would be helpful if Revit provided a warning. This type of thing happens on every project I've ever worked on, and taught me to double check my engineers' drawings before sending anything out.

What about revit everything for project manager-architect-builders (they do exist)
