AutoCAD Electrical 2007 - Command line font woes

Hello, I have a user that changes her command line font and makes it bold and italic. She has made sure this is saved in her profile. Her profile loads automatically. When she opens AutoCAD Electrical 2007 the font is incorrect. When you open the Options dialog box her profile is set to current and the font shows to her preferences. She hits the Set Current button and it then changes her font.

Has anyone else found an issue like this before or know a solution or work around?

I dont think so. In our office everyone has their own work stations that they do not share. When it comes to office standards, the drawings should be standardized, but the user should be allowed to customize their AutoCAD settings to look and feel as they like. I could care less how a drafter accomplishes the end result, as long as the drawing is to our standards electronically and hard copy. If they need to use a button, pull down, tool palette, design Center, command line... to draw a line then AutoCAD is great for giving them many choices. If you lock down "how" they draft you can hinder their efficiency and creativity to find better ways to draft something.

Sorry for the rant, its been one of those days.

It probably could be reset through a VBA or VLISP statement of some sort. It could be added to the startup routine.

Does this happen when she runs Vanilla AutoCAD?

She does not have vanilla cad.

For now I am using the vla-put-activeprofile function in her acad.lsp. I was hoping for a solution to the problem, not just a work around.

I wasn't sure if this was a known issue and had a fix that I could not find.

I was referring to running AutoCAD without the Electrical or any other vertical running.

Does that work for you?
