I'll start this with a feel free to move it where ever you'd like.
I'm not sure is this is just an RS issue or if this is also and RB issue but....
I'm working on a compus master plan for a very large project. Our Archies are using Acad, so I'm forced to link in their file. The origin for the Acad file (0,0,0) is about 233,000'-0" away from the building (due to client standard and Geospatial grid system) When I import the drawing, I can draw lines over the top of the Acad file, but they don't line up. I tried everything to get the lines to display on top of eachother. It didn't work. what I needed to do was to move the acad file so the bulding was closer to 0,0,0. After I did that, it worked fine.
