We are trying to plot multi page PDFs with no success.
Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.
I checked for other threads....they are old--2004/5.
about 90 sheets, naming each sheet is not a option.

I exported 2d dwf
then opened in autodesk free dwf viewer
Print to Adobe PDF
I had to triple check ALL settings and properties to make it work. Simply changing the paper size once didnt do it.
If anyone has had more success let me know.

This is the only way I've seen it done as well.

Frankly, I've switched to .dwf format for Revit plotting to repro services, potable docs, etc. This is after a major investment in Acrobat 7 pro. DWF just works better, faster, smaller files, etc.

multipage = pdfFactory
New version out allows page reorganization.

I love using dwf for plotting because it seems like I don't have any problems when doing that. But if I want pdf, I can never go to dwf then to pdf, because whatever happens during that process, all of my view tags and lines dissapear, so no details, wall sections etc., are referenced. I've never figured out how to resolve this issue, so keep triple ckecking.
When I need to print to pdf, I've found this to be very effective.
I select the Adobe pdf (7 Pro) printer from the drop down menu, change whatever settings you will use for this, i.e. resolution etc., then choose print to file and just print .prn files to a selected folder. Then I use the distiller to convert them all, which is very quick in my experience, then I create a pdf from multilple files.
I wish there were a better way to batch pdf, but I'm not that experienced with doing it and this method seems to give me the best results. I've tried a number of postscript drivers etc., and I've always seem to experience problems like text or objects disappearing etc.
Hope this helps.

JoshThere is. pdfFactory and a few others. Search AUGI for threads discussing it. Basically batch plot to pdfFactory and click save. Done. Or let it autosave to a specified folder so you don't need to do anything.

Does pdfFactory auto name files if I want to make one file for each sheet.

I agree with above comments.
Wes M.. on this forum suggested pdf Factory and I followed that up.
I got pdf FactoryPro ( $99 US) and man, its solved my batch plot problems altogether.
Its easy to use and the quality seems excellent after a short set up trial. Thanks Wes, that was a high quality tip.
I just got the new version mail out as well.
