Good Morning one and all.

I'm having problems trying to locate a list of error codes and troubleshooting information for the application.

I've received an error 530 - 684 which relates to datasource connectivity.

I simply cannot find the information required on the Autodesk homepage and so decided I would visit here and see if anyone could assist me by providing this information? Surely Autodesk must publish this list to assist IT Ops in the day to day running and troubleshooting of said application ?

Any information you can give would be great.

Kind Regards

Hi

Have you tried browsing / searching the Autodesk MapGuide Support area on the Autodesk web site...

Autodesk MapGuide Support (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/index?siteID=123112&id=2900007&linkID=2733874)

Have a good one, Mike

Hi Mike,

Yes I have tried searching their support site for the product and it is well... as useful as a chocolate T-Pot, hence why I've posted here, figured the users here may have had exposure to these kinds of problems before and so may know where to find the information to troubleshoot.

NPrytherch,

Can you provide more detail about the error you are getting? Is this a secondary data source connection or something else?

Certainly... the error is:

Autodesk MapGuide Server error: 530 - 684

Unable to retrieve data for layer "Label Present Position". The server failed to fetch data from the datasource *datasource name*.

Then it lists all fields and values.

This is a strange error and to be honest I cannot believe that it is so hard to find information on such a large product and its error codes, why else would an error code be created if not to assist in the resolution of faults and errors.

:(

Hi

Am I correct in assuming the following post on the Autodesk Discussion Groups "Autodesk MapGuide belongs to yourself and is dealing with the same issue / problem...

Random Server Error 530 - 684 (http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5320887)
