Drawing Index Problem!

I am attempting to index consultant drawings not done in revit along with an architectural set that is revit format. While the arch. index is not a problem when done with a schedule, I can't find a way to add sheet numbers and titles not generated in revit. Is there any way to create a generic schedule that won't reference parameters from the project, or a way to link an excel or word document?

Just load "dummy" sheets as placeholders...then they will show up...that's what I've done...

thanks. that was my first inclination, but i was hoping there would be an easier way to go about it.
