Grading Does Not Show

I am trying to grade a feature line using the Distance @ Slope command I go 11 feet and use a 2:1 slope and nothing happens on the screen but the program says that the feature line has a grading object associated with it. I have checked the default layers and they are all on and Thawed. Has any else run into this problem or know of a solution.

Do you have the visibility turned ON for your feature lines in your Style manager?
