I have a difficulty printing an excel spreadsheet to a dwf. When I insert the spreadsheet into the dwg file and publish to a dwf, the spreadsheet in the preview looks fine as does the spreadsheet in the dwf file. But when I send the dwf to the plotter to make a physical print of it, the spreadsheet does not print. Everything else prints fine.

If I print the dwf to a pdf, and then send it to the plotter, the spreadsheet prints.

I am confused on this. Any help please?

Hello, Josh, congrats on your first post on the augi forums!

I am going to move this post from the ACAD Tips and Tricks forum to this one, as I believe it will be better served here. Thank you! I have a difficulty printing an excel spreadsheet to a dwf. Hi

What version of AutoCAD are you using ?

How is the Excel document embedded / inserted into the DWG file ?

How are you creating the DWF file from within AutoCAD ?

How are you sending the DWF file to your output device ?

Have you tried sending the DWF to other output devices ?

Have a good one, Mike

Thanks Mike,

I am using ADT 2007.
The spreadsheet has been pasted into the dwg file from excel.
I used sheet set manager to publish to dwf.
I am sending the dwf to the printer through dwf viewer.

I sent the dwf to two other printers and the spreadsheet printed fine.

So apparently it is a printer problem?

Would definitely appear to be pointing toward a issue / problem between the DWF file in question and the output device.

What output device is it ?

Have you checked for updated Drivers ( from Manufactures web site ) for that particular output device ?

Have a good one, Mike

Have you tried using DWF Writer to create .dwf from M$ Office apps?
